Reaching out to the Homeless in the Santa Clarita Valley Donations will be collected through the month of January. All types of new or "gently used" jackets, sweaters, blankets, sleeping bags, comforters, gloves, socks, etc. for adults, youth and children are needed. "Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, "Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well" - but then you don't give that person any food or clothing. Sharing the HOPE of Christ through Hearts of Compassion
Northern Japan struck by massive 9.0 magnitude Earthquake & Tsunami on March 11th!
The epicenter was 81 miles off the east coast of the Oshika Peninsula of Tohoku near Sendai. We have seen the heart-wrenching images of Japan's cataclysmic earthquake and tsunami. Entire villages have been swept away. The death toll continues to rise. Millions are without access to water, and more than 380,000 are displaced. The estimates of the Sendai earthquake's magnitude made it the most powerful earthquake to hit Japan and the fourth most powerful earthquake in the world overall since modern record keeping began in 1900. Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan said that "in the 65 years after the end of World War II, this is the toughest and the most difficult crisis for Japan." Not only did northern Japan sustain massive destruction from the earthquake and tsunami, but they are now facing the additional threat of radiation leakage from nuclear power plants that were damaged by the earthquake and tsunami. How you can help financially (click on logo below): "Hear my prayer, O LORD; listen to my cry for mercy. In the day of my trouble I will call to you, for you will answer me." - Psalm 86:6-7

A dynamic, relational way to deepen your walk with the Lord. Cost is $25.00 per person ( Cost includes Disciple's Manual and covers all 4 Level Classes ) "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations..." - Matthew 28:19 For more information please contact the Church Office at (661) 251-8340 Click here for map to Hope Vineyard Church / Leona Cox Community School |

The need for non-perishable food (ie: canned goods, etc.) and practical daily essentials (ie: toiletries, clothing, etc.) for the less fortunate in our community has never been greater. "The Hope Box" outreach & compassion ministry is a way of helping to "make a difference", not just during the holidays, but throughout the year…showing God's love in a practical way. It's about "people helping people." As a "community of faith, hope and love" please ask the Lord to show you how you can "make a difference in someone's day" and be a beacon of Christ's light here in the Santa Clarita Valley and beyond. "This is what you are to be about…to loosen the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, let the oppressed go free, to break every yoke, to divide your bread with the hungry, and to bring the homeless poor into the hour." Isaiah 58:6, 7 Food and donations collected every Sunday morning.
